Environmental Policy

Principle:
We all recognize that protecting our global environment is of paramount importance in order to live together with nature. This is our fundamental principle towards truly advancing human society. Therefore, we are committed to reducing waste and its effects on the Earth's environment as much as possible through our corporate-wide activities, and to continue contributing to human society by providing excellent products through our research, development, and production efforts.
Operational Guideline
1). FLIGHT will work for environmental protection and pollution prevention by following world wide, environment related legislation, industry group regulations, and agreements with our customers.
2). FLIGHT will continuously improve the establishment and operation of a system controlling and assuring the reduction and non-use of substances affecting the environmental burden in products and production processes.
3). FLIGHT will continuously promote 3R (Reduction of energy and resources, Reuse, and Recycle) for environmental protection and pollution prevention to pursue the lowest possible emission.
4). FLIGHT will generate and implement the Environmental Control Action Plan to determine the targets on environmental improvement and pursue the interface between environmental protection and operational efficiency.
RoHS Substances
FLIGHT defines RoHS compliant products as those that do not exceed the maximum allo wable concentrations in homogeneous materials (and excluding natural impurities found in the environment) for lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr-VI), poly brominated biphenyls (PBB), and poly brominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) specified in the Commission Decision of 18 August 2005 or that theproducts are exempt per the Annex to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. Other legislation or regulations enacted by individual EU members and beyond the specific requirements of RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and the Commission Decision of 18 August 2005 are not covered by this compliance statement FLIGHT's products comply with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
